Never take for granted the power of God’s Spirit given to you in and through prayer; it is through prayer that our conversation with The Lord happens, and it is through prayer we commune with our Savior. Jesus has informed us throughout scripture that it is through the prayer of the saints that He hears our needs, our fears, our doubts. What we sometimes need to pray about or against depends upon the immediate need.
Your prayers will be needed when combating the enemy of your soul; please don’t forget that your reason for being, once you are in Christ Jesus, is about the soul and articulation of The Gospel. The combat can become harrowing because of what we know about Satan, but The Lord has given us victory through faith to pursue His greatest end of our being; eternal salvation through faith.
Fix your spirit’s objectives on learning to pray diligently and discernibly, especially what you say in prayer out loud and to God through your thoughts; sometimes not praying out loud can be strategic and for great purposes. Be clear about your thanksgiving, your need for Godly courage and clarity, and for those who are not affixed to The Lord in faith; we have a big job to do while we’re here and we must take souls seriously.
God bless you all!
The Wry Pastor
