There are A TON of misinformed people who are believing the wrong things about The Word of God and don’t know how to interpret the Scriptures correctly. The unfortunate reality is that people using incorrect info via the Scriptures as a means to push agendas, whether those agendas are politically right leaning or left leaning, are doing themselves and those whom they influence, a massive injustice.
You are and will be accountable for what you teach and for what you believe about The Triune God and Jesus Christ while also being responsible for teaching the text correctly. Please take this seriously: you are accountable for what you say about God and how you use the Scriptures. With all the misuse of scripture about Jesus’ skin color, His political origins, what He’d support and not support; these are eisegetical and anachronistic uses of the Bible for agendas that don’t align with the overall text.
The Bible is about the redemption of mankind to God via the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and putting your faith in THE One and Only Son of God as Messiah. The Bible isn’t about social programs or political parties and their agendas. We have to be more wise and we have to exegete the text using a proper hermeneutic to interpret the Bible or we’re venturing into false teaching and heresy.
What you believe about God matters and my hope is that if/when you listen to this, you’ll seek out The Lord via the text and you’ll take your faith much more seriously. There are far too many messages out there that are deceptive and false; you need to know the truth to be a part of the God’s plan to set them free.
God Bless you all!
The Wry Pastor
