While my wife and I were away this last week an opportunity arose where I was able to articulate the truth about the Bible to one of my wife’s family members. This opportunity isn’t unique in that stuff like that happens “randomly” on occasion. What is special about this situation, though, is that when The Lord is prompting someone to ask questions to me that pertain to faith, I want to be ready to answer.
My encouragement to you is to read your Bible and seek out God’s knowledge so that you can do the same and with confidence. God’s Spirit lives in you and will train you through iteration what is in The Text so that you are a faithful witness to those who don’t know God, but are seeking Him out via The Scriptures.
Read your bible, trust God to speak through you, face your fears of now knowing what to say, and create your own study to know what’s in The Word of God; exercises like this will make you a person fit for spiritual understanding and knowledge to help those who are seeking out our Savior.
The Wry Pastor
